I like the idea, but I think it feels pretty empty and random. I found a lot of areas taht seem like dead ends, and there are so many turns it's hard to actually find anything. I think it could really benefit from a minimap, especially one that fills in as you explore.
Also, I think you might have set the window size incorrectly. There's full screen, so it can still be played fine that way, but otherwise the game window is very, very small. I had to keep going full screen, then exiting to read the controls(until I got used to them), then re-entering full screen so I could see again.
Overall, nice idea! A bit more developing, and it could be a great game.
The game concept is very interesting and fun. I like the mechanic of summoning shadow to scout areas that could potentially trap you or get stuck or find a way out. I'm not sure if that is the main purpose of it but its very interesting. 😁
I had a problem in the level/map design I only realized that I should've used my shadow form when I'm already stuck. And on my 2nd run even after I used it, It won't return to my real body and get stuck at the location😭. but I understand it still being develop so the idea is still great!
For the combat system, the most basic movements and combats I think it was already working and good. Wish I could dash mid air, slide longer and the momentum when I run and jump wont stop mid air when I attack. Attacking in 4 different direction (Up & Down) could also be a thing but its up to how your game will grow soon 😁
Overall experience I loved the concept/prototype I wish the development focused more on the shadow and level design to teach when is the right time to use the shadow before getting stuck in an area. 😊✨✨Great work!!
